| | | | | | | Tuscany coast In the beautiful, deep-blue sea of Tuscany, you have a good chance to see dolphins! The prestigious Marina of Tuscany are ideally located along the beautiful and unspoiled coast of the Argentario Peninsula, surrounded by a region with plenty of history and culture. Cliffs and then sand, that is what happens after Castiglioncello. The blinding green takes on the shape of a dense pine wood, an inviting place in the hot summer. As it gets further from the sea it becomes an impenetrable blur of vegetation.
Elba and the seven sisters The island of Elba, the largest of the seven sisters in the archipelago, is as full of wonders for the visitor as it once was of iron and granite. Iron may have been its main feature in the past, as you can see in the museums and exhibitions, but now it is the sea. If exploring is what you like doing, you can get great satisfaction from looking for the many hidden inlets. You can relax on the sand glinting with different colours due to the different minerals in the earth, from turquoise stones to red and then black, and finally the white of the beach of the Argonauts, the mythical Greek travellers. There are many isolated bays and you can choose a different one every day according to which way the wind is blowing. The rocky sea-beds are magnificent with constellations of intense colours from coral seaweed, horny coral, sponges and rich marine flora where octopuses, lobsters and moray eels find shelter.
Marina & starting point : Castiglioncello Castiglioncello, in the heart of the Costa Fiorita, is a very elegant resort popular with well-known personalities of show business, politics etc.., who love its rocky coastline, romantic beaches and luxuriant pine forests. It is situated on a promontory reaching out into the Tyrrhenian sea, far from the busy highways, and has remained largely unknown and unspoilt. The charming coast of Castiglioncello, Quercianella and the other resorts of Costa Fiorita is famous for its Art, culture and landscape.
