Climate
All seasons are good for a visit in Italy. In summer, Italy is an international playground for yacht charterers, with visitors from all continents raingling with vacationing Italians at the famous resorts. Spring comes early to Italy and autumn lingers.
Most of the year the beaches are sunny , with more than 5000 miles of shoreline bordering Italy and its islands. You can usually find waters where the temperature is right for swimming. And history is always in season : choose any time of year to tour historic buildings and view the world's greatest art treasures. Italy is a land that has been writing and preserving its history for over three thousand years.

Sicily and Calabria are regions of volcanoes and of....yacht charter. The highest is Etna, a solitary relief near Catania. Other volcanoes have formed some of the minor islands: all the Lipari islands, Ustica and Pantelleria. Some of these are still active (Stromboli and Vulcano) or dormant, while others have been extinct since time immemorial.

Marina & starting point :
Those are the ideal starting points to reach the Aeolian islands (Vulcano, Salina, Lipari, Filicudi, Alicudi, Panarea and the famous Stromboli). This group of volcanoes are of extraordinary beauty and crystal clear water is only few miles away.

Vibo Valentia
The charming coastal town, which lies at the foot of Mount Castelluccio in Sante Venere bay, is the safest and most developped tourist-landing place between Salerno and Reggio Calabria. The harbour of Vibo Valentia Marina is formed by a curved wharf with quay and by an inner wharf. The seabed is sandy.

Tropea
A famous bathing place, with a brand new marina, situated on a reef, in the gulf of St. Euphemia, toward the south with respect to Vibo Valentia and northward with respect to Ricadi and Capo Vaticano.

Distances: Capri: 140 NM, Lipari: 50 NM, Stromboli 40 NM, Milazzo 54 NM. Portorosa 70 NM.
