Thanks to its hilly terrain the island offers some magnificent scenery of great beauty. World-renown destinations for the exciting nightlife during the high season. Ibiza is most strongly associated, these days, with nightclubs (Amnesia, Pacha, Space...). Quite a crowd descends on their spectacular beaches, which are some of the most beautiful in the world. However, if you visit in the summer, the beaches will be teaming with visitors looking for fun and reveling in the unique Bohemian ambience. Out of season, these islands do offer peace and quiet in which to enjoy the lovely landscapes that abound.

Formentera
Formentera is the smallest and island of the Balearic Islands. It is 19 kilometres long and is located approximately 3 nautical miles south of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea. Its major villages are Sant Francesc Xavier, Sant Ferran de ses Roques, El Pilar de la Mola and La Savina.
The island of Formentera has salt marshes, orchards, farmers and fishermen. Reached by ferry from the island of Ibiza, Formentera is very small and quiet, with no high-rise tourist developments marring the landscape. The inhabitants seem to prefer a slower pace and want to keep it that way.
