Rome Yacht Charter
Ostia, Pontine Islands, Nettuno, Ischia and Capri.
Rome has always been a city with an enormous influence and importance on western civilization. It is not the most ancient modern city, yet it is the one that has preserved the ancient traces of different civilizations, being rich in architecture, art, religion, etc. Romes population and its fortune have varied continuously: from being the great metropolis of one of the most powerful empires of the ancient world, turning to an overgrown village during the Middle Ages, to becoming the centre of art and religion under the various Popes of the Renaissance. Although tied to Neapolitan interests and past tradition, Lazio islands with their steep cliff are a natural outlet to Rome's yachting trade
Rome offer all the types of yacht charter such as bareboat charter, skippered, crewed yachts, catamaran, sailboat, motoryacht and luxury yachts charter.
The Pontine Islands
A stunning volcanic archipelago just off the coast of Lazio, the Pontine islands offer you turquoise waters, tiny vineyards, wild herbs and flowers. In the summer it can be pretty crowded with Italians flocking in from Rome. Ponza is the most interesting island. It's full of grottoes and secluded beaches. The Pilatus Caves are one of the main higlights. Ventotene is smaller and more tranquil. For most of its history it was a prison and there's not a lot to see and do now. There are remains of a Roman villa - but they're not exactly spectacular. The beaches are okay but the tranquility of the island is probably the main draw.
