Climate
Spain has high sunshine levels, up to 12 hours per day in summer. Rain is very rare from June to August though the northern Mediterranean coast may be liable to occasional heavy rain falls.? In the south, there can occasionally occur a very hot wind from North Africa though sea breezes may stop temperatures from rising too high.

Marina & starting point :
Denia
Located in the southeast section of the port, this marina completes the magnificent lineup available in Denia. Denia's international sea traffic ensures that its 400 moorings are used all year round. Each year a growing number of sailing enthusiasts from different countries use this area as their home base in view of the attractions of the Costa Blanca and the amenities to be found here.
Valencia
The yacht club with one of the most modern and complete nautical installations on over 400,000m2. In addition to a full range of port services, the club has a large social building, a children.s playground, a sports complex, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis courts and practice walls and a squash court. A modern, bustling port divides the sea front of Valencia into two main sections. To the north lies an attractive promenade along the most urban and popular beaches: Malvarrosa, Cabañal and Las Arenas. The beach itself has full facilities in addition to the wide range of bars, restaurants and leisure activities which transform the area into a hive of activity 24 hours a day in the hottest months.
Alicante
These modern installations contain one of the oldest yacht clubs in Spain. It has a long seafaring tradition and has been the home of big names in regattas.
