Climate
Corsica has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and cool winters. Average summer temperatures reach a very pleasant 25°C rising to as high as 35°C in July and August with sea temperatures reaching their peak by the end of July. The sun shines around 280 days per year, espcialy from April to October, making the Corsica summer, the perfect time for a yacht charter.

Surrounded by scenic mountains on the shore of one of the most beautiful gulfs in the world, Ajaccio is a friendly stopping place with a very sunny and luminous climate. An elegant city, pleasant to live and a delight to discover, Ajaccio has kept its charm of a small mediterranean town with a rich and varied architectural heritage. The city has a permanent sea breeze, cooling the torrid summer heat. The port is accessible day and night in all weathers; beware strong southerly and south-westerly winds, also the buoy at the port entry and the lack of alight. Dominant winds east and south west. The port offers the best shelter in the bay. The marina is in the center of the city and only 6kms from Ajaccio airport
Propriano
Sport and commercial fishing harbor located in the heart of the Valinco Golf. It is an ideal start to navigate towards Bonifacio or the Lavezzi, or simply to follow the coast North towards Calvi. The coastline around Propriano offers an endless succession of inlets and beaches...
Propriano is a lively commercial center and its numerous and diverse stores will allow for an easy provisioning. It holds a daily fresh market and the grocery store is few hundred yards away.
Calvi
Calvi is a 13th-16th century citadel ramparts on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, one of the most impressive sites in Corsica. The Marina is 15 mn from Calvi airport. Calvi is one of the most beautiful Corsican cities .
Bonifacio.
Bonifacio has a wonderful landscape and is an ideal port of call for those charter yachts looking for a picturesque setting. Bonifacio is also the ideal location to explore Sardinia and Lavezzi Islands, which are now classified as a natural reserve. The marina of Bonifacio shelters the Sailing harbor and a fishing port. An important Trading Port links Bonifacio and Sardinia which is very near, together. Many excursions in sea are possible towards the Lavezzi and Cavallo Isles.
Porto Vecchio
The Sailing Harbor of Porto-Vecchio is an ideal place to sail in the South, to cruise off the Cerbicales or on the way of Sardinia. And remain near from the most beautiful Beaches of the South of Corsica. The superb harbor at Porto-Vecchio gives access to the hundred's of luxury yachts visiting Corsica each summer.
